NOIDA: Noida Extension Flat Owners’ Welfare Association (NEFOWA) on Sunday made an appeal to all political parties and asked them to include their issues in the manifesto and give in writing that when they win in the upcoming UP elections, they will resolve the buyers’ issues within six months. Else, the aggrieved buyers will go with the NOTA option in the Assembly elections.

In a meeting with senior Congress leader Ajay Makan at the party office in Noida, the aggrieved home buyers of Noida Extension presented their problems before him. The problems which they are facing for last 6-7 years include settle- ment of fight between home buyers and builders and implementation of Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) without dilution.

Indrish Gupta, CoFounder, NEFOWA, told the Millenniumpost, “We have handed over our memorandum to Ajay Makan in the presence of NEFOWA Cofounder Abhishek Kumar and several aggrieved home buyers of Noida Extension. Makan promised us to include our issues in the manifesto and if they win in the UP Election, they will resolve the buyers’ issues in next six months.”

NEFOWA, an association of flat buyers of Greater Noida West, Noida and other NCR regions, has been fighting for the dream homes of numerous flat buyers.

The aggrieved buyers are under great financial crisis and mental agony due to the delay in the possession of their flats. Most of them are under dual burden of rent as well as bank EMI.

The frustrated buyers, in view of the upcoming elections in UP, started “No House, No Vote” campaign, thus opting to choose NOTA option.
