PARSING – THE MIND’S EYE
An exhibition of glass and light by Vijay Kowshik, senior artist. The exhibition delves into the mind of the artist with expressions thrown from his agitated psyche striving to extract experiences from the collective consciousness. The medium of expression is ceramic in which glass is his main motivation. The works juxtapose the inner feelings of the artist through the plasticity of the material at high temperatures. The amalgamation evokes a strange quality of thrill and joy in the making, which manifests itself finally in the works. The art show Tantra will display works by several eminent artists. Tantra is a spiritual method or science focused on the nature of experience, in particular experience of the mind.
