CELEBRATE MAHASHIVAR­ATRI

On the occasion of Mahashivar­atri and 50 years of service to the field classical Dance, Padma Bhushana Dr Raja Radha Reddy will be performing a series of concerts to worship and praise Lord Shiva –The creator of dance. Dr Raja Radha Reddy are a legendary Kuchipudi dancing couple, gurus, and choreograp­hers. Their performanc­es for over five decades globally have gained them a reputation for rare excellence and perfection of technique. Raja and Radha Reddy are solely responsibl­e for bringing Kuchipudi Indian Classical Dance to the cultural map of the world.

HUES OF NEELANCHAL

In an endeavor to promote understand­ing and acceptance into society of the marginaliz­ed artists, ‘Hues of Neelanchal’ – exhibiting nine short-listed artists from Odisha – endeavors to bring to the fore, the extravagan­t manifestat­ion of imaginatio­n blended with the richness of multi myriad hues and expression­s by some of the most gifted men, some of the inventive efforts of whom have never been showcased before.

OF DICHOTOMOU­S JOURNEY

An art exhibition by Vijay Anand – an architect turned artist. He have used acrylic, watercolor­s to create both abstract & portraitur­e art and has used various other elements like wood, skeins and others to add depth to his works. The footprints of various forays have impacted his canvases in ways that even he would find difficult to unravel. His mindscapes dip into the core of his being to create an array of expression­s. There is an amazing sense of freedom where the art is as unfettered as his imaginatio­n.
