NEW DELHI: Ahead of next month’s Municipal polls here, the AAP government has gone on an inauguration spree, commencing road-repair works and other projects, and also launched an advertisement campaign through the print media.

The two ministers are scheduled to inaugurate repair works on several roads on Thursday as well. Some other projects are also in the line to be inaugurated in the coming days.

The Kejriwal government com- pleted two years in office last month.

The government has been giving advertisements in the print media every day for the last two days, highlighting its works including potable water facility for all by 2017 in Delhi, waiving of pending water bills, “successful” implementation of two phases of odd-even policy.

The “achievements” that will be highlighted in the coming days include the mohalla clinic project, cheap power rates and free water among others. Elections to all three Municipal Corporations, being ruled by the BJP for almost 10 years, will take place next month.

AAP, which recently released the first list of 109 candidates for the MCD polls, has said that in its campaign, it would raise the issue of alleged corruption by BJP in civic bodies.
