PHREEDOM4EVER always try to associate with such enrichment programs for a better tomorrow.”

PHREEDOM4EVER’S major endeavour is the upliftment of rural talents to urban audience wherein the rural artists of various genres showcase their expertise to the urban audience during festive periods and special events.

As put in by the DG & IG, Correctional Center, West Bengal, Arun Kumar Gupta, “Culture therapy has been proved to be one of the most successful methodology of correction through the creative vehicle of art, music and dance. Art in prison has been a common platform of Correctional Services, Government of West Bengal and Flight to Harmony Foundation to chisel out the hidden artist among the inmates.”

The exhibition will start at 2 pm on the said date and an inaugural function is being arranged at 4:45 pm in the presence of Minister, Bratya Basu, Mayor In Council, Debashish Kumar, Pramita Mallick, Subhaprasanna, Sudeshna Roy, Abhijit Guha, Jogen Chowdhury, Rita Bhimani, Nandita Pal Chowdhury, Eleena Banik, Nayantara Pal Chowdhury, Chaitali Dasgupta, Sudarshan Chakravorty, Arindam Ganguly to name a few.

Considering the genre of the exhibition and the movements initiated by the Correctional Home Authorities, a host of socially prominent personalities are likely to attend the event. Inspired by Shree Chitta Dey, an eminent artist and sculptor and the man behind Flight to Harmony Foundation who has been an inspiration to millions with his dreams and ability to make dreams possible is the main figure behind this initiative. It is his introspective and his deep association with the lives of the inmates, that this exhibition is able to see the daylight. Chitta Dey has been instrumental to create a team of artists out of convicts and is relentless in his efforts till this time.

This is a sincere effort by PHREEDOM4EVER to venture in to newer valleys and bring up some social issues not really discussed in our daily lives but is as relevant as a sunrise or sunset.
