NEW DELHI: In a recent case of abduction, the 16-year-old girl who was initially lured into friendship by her neighbour was sexually assaulted, filmed in an objectionable state, drugged and was impregnated.

The accused had taken the victim to a village near Aligarh in UP where she was repeatedly raped.

On May 11, the girl managed to flee from the clutches abductors after which the cops managed to arrest the accused.

He has been registered under POCSO and other relevant sections.

The accused, Panna Lal, a resident of South West Delhi lived close to the victim's residence.

“The girl was first lured into friendship by the accused and later he exploited her sexually on several occasions for the past one year,” said sources.

The accused allegedly recorded the intimate video on the mobile and started blackmailing the girl. The girl was left with no other option but to comply with the Lal's demands.

The victim was afraid that the video might go viral and hence put little resistance for imposed exploitation.

Following this, the victim was called by the accused to a secluded spot.

Here, two of his friends were already waiting. This is where she was drugged and taken out of Delhi after she became unconscious.

The victim only remembers that she was in a state of unconsciousness and her clothes were changed every time she attained consciousness.

Unaware of the place, she was unable to inform her whereabouts. By then, her family had already filed a complaint at the Dabri police station.

Gathering courage, the girl somehow managed to escape from the clutches of her abductors and reached Delhi on May 11.

“We have produced the victim before the court and after the ‘Habeas Corpus'. , the accused was also produced in the court. He has been arrested but this is a case where the cops have asked the family themselves to search for the minor. The girl is few months pregnant,” said Punit Vinay, lawyer of the victim.
