Unbalanced diet cause of kidney diseases
NEW DELHI: In a startling revelation, it has come to notice that there has been a steep rise in the cases of chronic kidney diseases. According to Society of Renal Nutrition and Metabolism of India (SRNMI), the kidney diseases have increased by 16 per cent in the country in the recent past.
According to the an experts associated with the SRNMI, the kidney diseases are on the rise as people are not taking balanced diet.
“The prime cause of chronic kidney disease is intake of unbalanced diet that reduces the chances of recovery of patients and decreases the average age of patients,” said Georgi Abraham, Professor of Medicine at Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry.
Citing the findings of his research, Abraham said, “About 42-77 per cent kidney patients undergoing dialysis treatment are different hospitals are malnourished. It happened so as patients were not provided with balanced diet soon after the diagnosis of kidney disorder.”
Explaining about the role of balanced diet in curing renal diseases, nephrologist Manish Malik said, “It a known practice that most of patients follow the suggestions of their near and dear ones while selecting food items in their meals, which don’t help in curing the disease. Also there is no allopathic medicine available to treat the kidney when it gets damaged.”
Malik further said, “The ayurvedic formation Neeri KFT has the efficacy to restrict further deterioration of damaged kidney. Suppose a patient is diagnosed about renal ailment at 2nd stage, the ayurvedic medicine Neeri KFT would not let further damage of the kidney and helps in extending average life of such patients.”
Supporting the experiences of nephrologists, Sanchit Sharma, who has developed the ayurvedic formulation for his firm Aimil Pharmaceuticals, said, “It’s an only ayurvedic medicine that stops further damage of kidney.
