INDIA BEAT SWEDEN 3-2 IN WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

YOGJAKARTA: India eked out a 3-2 win over Sweden in their last Group D match of mixed team event to reach the quarterfinals of the World Junior badminton Championships. India, who blanked USA, Hungary and Australia 5-0, registered wins in the men’s singles, women singles and mixed doubles, while losing the men’s and women’s doubles.
