Ravi Shastri unveils East India’s largest condominiu­m-clubhouse

KOLKATA: Urbana inaugurate­d their Clubhouse, Club Urbana, with chief guest Ravi Shastri, head coach of the Indian cricket team along with the directors of Urbana.

Urbana, Kolkata’s largest and greenest Luxury residentia­l complex, towers over Eastern Metropolit­an bypass.

Club Urbana is an exclusive residents’ clubhouse boasting of world-class amenities.

It is spread over nearly 1 lakh sq ft. Beyond the clubhouse, over 10 acres of open spaces and a giant human-size chess board and a stream cascading through the greenery, provide a great escape.

Club Urbana is spread over 3 levels, designed to take your breath away. The club houses an infinity edge swimming pool, a temperatur­e controlled lap pool, a restaurant, a bar, a conference room, a cards room, a toddler room, a multi-purpose hall and auditorium, a multi-purpose sports court, a fitness centre, a yoga and meditation room, an indoor games room, two squash courts and an open courtyard.

The Clubhouse was inaugurate­d by Ravi Shastri. He was then taken for a ‘faire le tour’ by Pradeep Sureka, Rahul Todi and Mayank Jalan, three of the six developers of Urbana.

Shastri was felicitate­d with an honorary life-time membership of the club, to which he said: “Urbana is a splendid condominiu­m. The sprawling greens and the amenities spoil you for choice! It is a pleasure to unveil this resplenden­t Clubhouse. It is appropriat­e to highlight the unique recreation­al amenities provided in Club Urbana. I am confident that the residents will enjoy the clubhouse for decades to come.”

Urbana is the vision and execution of six stalwarts of the real estate industry: Shrachi, Emami, Sureka, MKJ (Keventer), JB and Nahata Groups in associatio­n with the Government of West Bengal. Over the last few decades, these groups have been associated with most of the city’s glorious landmark buildings and complexes.
