Bank burgled in Outer Delhi
NEW DELHI: A burglary was reported from a Cooperative Bank in Outer Delhi area. Police claimed that they are working on few leads in the case and soon they will make the arrest. According to police, the incident was reported from Mundka area.
“The incident came to light on Monday after the bank was opened and the wall was found to be broken,” said a senior police official.
The bank officials who witnessed the scene made a PCR call without wasting any time. A police team reached the spot and found that few lockers were open, and from the broken wall they got inside the bank and made away with cash from there. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer) Amit Sharma stated that they have been probing the cash from all probable angles. The bank where the incident happened is a Cooperative bank and the guard was not present at the time of the incident. The exact of the incident is also unknown it came to light on Monday morning.
“After the bank is closed the guard went to his home and the accused broke the wall and came inside the bank,” said Sharma. When asked how many amounts were burgled by the thieves he said that lakhs rupees were taken out. “We are probing the amount which was burgled and after the investigation is completed many things will be cleared,” said a senior police official. Police suspect the role of some insider in the bank burglary. “We suspect that inside information was given to the accused person we are probing the angle,” said Sharma. NEW DELHI: Delhi government will ensure that there is no dismantling and recycling of E-waste in the Capital. The Delhi Pollution Control Committee along with the environment department will work on this initiative.
"DPCC should ensure that there is no dismantling and recycling of E-waste in Delhi. E-waste Management in Delhi assumes greater significance in view of the fact that use of electronic, telecommunication and computer devices has increased manifold consequently giving rise to the corresponding increase in discarding of old electronic and electrical equipment," said Imran Hussain, the environment minister of Delhi. He stressed the need for giving wide publicity to the rules so that public could be made aware of scientific disposal and management of E-waste and C&D Waste in Delhi.
