The construction work at the bridge between Greater Noida’s sector 1 and Noida’s sectors 112 and 115 is expected to get started soon by the Noida authority after clearing the long pending hurdles on the construction of the bridge.

According to Noida authority officials, the construction of the bridge at Hindon River was pending due to land acquisition issues.

The CEO has directed the officials to expedite the project.

The bridge, once complete with the approach road will also be useful for commuters who want to travel between Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.

The bridge project was launched in 2013 but had been stuck for the last four years.

Commuters from Greater Noida west have to reach sector 71 via Kisan chowk near Gaur city to travel Noida or Delhi which witness massive traffic snarl in the peak hours of the day as the same road is also used by the commuters travelling to Ghaziabad.

This bridge at Hindon River will help commuters who travel to Greater Noida (west) and Noida’s phase-iii and will directly connect the area with Noida’s sector 50, 112 and 119.

The road can also be used by the residents of Greater Noida West to reach sector 71 metro station at the newly constructed metro link between Noida and Greater Noida.
