My child is still in a state of shock, says father
NEW DELHI: Even a day after the dramatic rescue of the kidnapped five-year-old from Ghaziabad, he still was shaken by the incident.
Police sources claimed that the main accused Nitin came to know that kidnapped boy’s family were in a good financial condition after doing a recce of their shop in Shahdara area.
Talking to Millennium Post, the boy’s father stated that after the rescue he had sent his child to a relative’s home to make sure that his son got over the trauma of the past few days.
“He is terrified, so I have requested family members and others not to remind him of the incident.” He further added that his son had not eaten much since the dramatic rescue in the wee hours on Tuesday.
When the father got the news of his child’s safety he rushed to the place where the minor was kept and found that he was sitting with DCP G Ram Gopal Nayak.

Police sources told Millennium Post that Nitin who was was running a small eatery had come to pick up materials for his shop from the boy’s father.
At this juncture, he hatched an elaborate plot with his friend Pankaj to kidnap the five-year-old.
“They understood that the boy’s family was in a position to cough up Rs 60 lakh by way of ransom,” said the source.
A team led by Ram Gopal Naik, DCP Crime Branch under the close supervision of Alok Kumar, Joint CP, Crime was constituted to investigate the matter.
Other key members of the team included Rajesh Kumar, ACP Stars-2, Inspector Vinay Tyagi, Inspector Surender and Inspector Sanjay Neolia. Joy Tirkey, DCP Crime, provided valuable inputs in the initial stages of the investigation.
