COP’S DAUGHTER COMMITS SUICIDE

NEW DELHI: The daughter of a Delhi police personnel allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her father’s house in North East Delhi’s Meet Nagar on Sunday evening. Police have sent her body for autopsy and probing whether the deceased was exploited for dowry. According to police, the victim a 29-year-old woman lived with her husband in Chanderlok colony. Police claimed that the incident was reported around 5 pm when she was found hanging by her dupatta from a ceiling fan. After the body was discovered, the family members rushed her to a local hospital where the doctor declared her brought dead. A PCR call was made in this regard. Police have sent her body for autopsy. Police claimed that they have come to know about some tiff in the relation of husband and wife which is being probed.
