Renowned designers came together for POP STREET FASHION SHOW

of the highly awaited Pop Streer Lifestyle exhibition and Fashion show finally concluded on February 16, 2018. The exhibition, which was also dedicated towards the support of MANTHAN SVK- Holistic Education Program of DJJS for the underprivi­leged children, saw various designers coming under one roof to showcase the best of their collection­s.

A major highlight of the event was the launch of Dormio, a mattress brand (Made in India) by its par- ent company, Thomsen (Ger- many). Jyanti Maingi, Founder of The Popstreet Exhibition said,”we are extremely glad and overwhelme­d with the response of the visitors. This exhibition was a huge success. We will be coming soon with the second edition of the exhibition.” The event was organized at The Lalit, New Delhi.

Some of the well-known fashion and jewellery designers such as VIP Jewellers, Prarena Grover, Pam Mehta, Varija Bajaj, Hardika Gulati, Bani Couture, Devanshi Renu Jewels participat­ed and showcased their latest magnificen­t collection. The fashion show opened with the designs displayed by Pam Mehta followed by designers like Prarena Grover whose costumes were inspired by internatio­nal military uniforms.

Fashion designers like Bani Couture showcased their collection of different types of cuts, fabrics, and silhouette­s. A boho collection by Varija Bajaj came with a message of universal peace and love. The collection basically focused on pastel colours, asymmetric­al hem lines, and sustainabl­e fabrics to enhance this very chic resort wear collection. Pam Mehta’s designs with playful colouring and asymmetric cuts created a beautiful distractio­n from the regular designs observed every day. Traditiona­l jewellery was the main focus of the collection displayed by VIP Jewellers. Their models wore traditiona­l pieces with a hint of modernity in every day and statement pieces. Ethnic designs were the mainstay for Devanshi Renu Jewels.

Gracieux by Charu and Richa, Home Struck , Sangavi brand and Pashmina by United Crafts were some companies who took part in this lifestyle exhibition. Above all, what grabbed everyone’s attention was the fashion show by underprivi­leged children educated by Manthan SVK. Also, an exhibition of the organicall­y prepared cosmetic brand “Becharmed”, by a 14 year - old girl Siyaa, appealed the audiences.
