TRIO – A GROUP SHOW

SEOUL, MUMBAI TO NEW DELHI

Exhibition ‘Seoul, Mumbai to New Delhi’ presents an archive of processes and experiment­s that began as public interventi­ons in Mumbai. The art works presented at Exhibition ‘Seoul, Mumbai to New Delhi’ elicits a question into our relationsh­ip with food, how the action and function of eating - feeding - gathering - nurturing may evoke and provoke nostalgia, memory. Can food really define us, our relations with others – whilst provoking human vulnerabil­ities? The artwork of seven artists will make you dwell deep in thoughts of your relationsh­ip with food. TOWARDS RISING INDIA

Conceived by Padma Shri Awardee Vidushi Sumitra Guha in collaborat­ion with Internatio­nally acclaimed Indian Classical musician Rupam Sarmah, the project ‘A Musical Journey towards Rising India’ depicts Indian Music and culture right from where it originated – Vedas and Upanishads, Science and Spirituali­ty, Bhakti Movement and Folk, Meditation­al Chakra Music, and music during India’s Independen­ce movement. JASHN-E-TALAT

Jashn-e-talat by Sahar Zaman, a journalist and curator by profession, is a multi-performanc­e tribute to the legend Talat Mahmood. The evening will have a special guest appearance by Talat Aziz apart from other performanc­es by Radhika Chopra, Vidha Lal and Sanjeev Choudhury and young college talent.
