The University registrar had said in a statement informing all eligible applicants that the registration process of all programmes will be completely online for all categories and for all quotas.

“The details of the registration process and subsequent procedure will be available in the Bulletin of Information, which will be available online in downloadable form,” it said.

Moreover, candidates have the preference to choose various programmes in as many colleges as they want.

The candidates have to submit the online application before the date of closing of admission procedure, failing which their application could be rejected.

According to a DU official, the current academic year will see be no separate registration for entrance-based undergraduate programmes. Aspirants can register through the centralised admission portal for all courses.

“Single-point registration will ensure that all the data is centrally located and the admission committee has access to it in one place,” the official said.

The first cut-off list is likely to come out in the first week of June.

A source in the DU admission committee said, “Students can register first and contact us in case they face any issue. Since the registration period is very long, aspirants can wait till the issue is resolved before making payment”.

The admission portal will also allow the committee to track the number of seats filled and withdrawals in real time.

Another official informed that for the first time, the Noncollegiate women’s Education Board (NCWEB) has also been added to the main form.

“This time, every female students who applies to DU will be registered for non-collegiate automatically,” she added. Both BA and Bcom will be included in the application. However, as always, a residence proof of Delhi will be required for admission to both courses.
