LONDON: Irrfan Khan has described his upcoming film Karwaan as a journey full of “emotions, adventures and chaos”.

The 51-year-old actor took to Twitter to share the first trailer of his film. “Emotions. Adventures. Chaos. Experience all of these as you get on board! #KarwaantraileroutNow,” Khan wrote, sharing the link in the tweet.

The National Award-winning actor is currently recuperating from Neuro Endocrine Tumour.

Karwaan, a dark comedy, revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a bizarre journey. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, the film marks the Bollywood debut of Southern star Dulquer Salmaan and webseries actor Mithila Palkar.

Salmaan and Palkar also shared the trailer on the microblogging site and wrote, “You never know what life has in store for you! Get onto this journey of a lifetime with us!” The film is set to release on August 3. It has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala in association with Ishka films.

is a romantic drama film directed by Shashank Khaitan, produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios which is starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in lead roles.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 20. ctor Evan Rachel Wood says she was afraid to tell her sexual abuse experience, but she pushed herself to open up about it. Earlier this year, the actor shared her domestic violence and sexual abuse experience with the House Judiciary Committee as part of an effort to secure a bill of rights for sexual assault survivors in the US.

“Amanda Nguyen, who wrote the Bill contacted me, just as a fellow survivor, and reached out. She said,‘we have passed this on a federal level, but it still has to be implemented in all states, and we need to bring more awareness to it’,” Wood said.

“And I was like, ‘Well, I have really only told my story to about five people, I can count on one hand, so to go from that to everyone, to the world knowing, it was overwhelming. I don’t know a world in which everyone knows this about me, and it was terrifying to think about what that would mean, and what people would think. But, the fact that I was so afraid to tell my story, and ashamed, just made me want to do it more, because I felt like that it was wrong, and I shouldn’t feel like that, so I said yes,” added the actor.

Actor Scarlett Johansson has trashed a report claiming that she auditioned to date superstar Tom Cruise. A former Scientologist had claimed that the Avengers: Infinity War star was one amongst the listed women to audition to date Cruise following his split from Nicole Kidman years ago. “The very idea of any person auditioning to be in a relationship is so demeaning,” Johansson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “I refuse for anyone to spread the idea that I lack the integrity to choose my own relationships. Only a man aka Brendan Tighe would come up with a crazy story like that,” she added. Tighe, a former Scientologist, recently appeared on NBC’S ‘Megyn Kelly Today’ and revealed that during his time as a part of Cruise’s Scientology security unit, he saw reports of women who auditioned to date the actor. Tighe explained that the reports were accidentally sent to his printer and he only remembered Johansson because he recognised her name. “Another actor, Erika Christensen, had to disconnect from Scarlett Johansson because it didn’t go well. That was in that report,” Tighe had said.
