GNIDA announces sops for industrial plot buyers
Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on Saturday made changes in their industrial plots scheme, in order to provide a major relief to the buyers of these schemes.
The decision was taken in the Authority’s 112th board meeting, chaired by Uttar Pradesh chief secretary and GNIDA chairman AC Pandey.
As per the new policies, the allotment of any industrial land measuring less than 4,000 square meter area will be made through a draw system.
The move is aimed to bring transparency and make it free from complicated procedure. “Moreover, after allotment, if the allottee pay total amount in one time, five per cent concession will be given to them,” said a senior GNIDA official.
Apart from these decisions, the Authority also made changes in the construction policies over the acquired plots by the allottes.
“The Authority, for the first time, has sought to provide flexibility in the industrial plot scheme. As of now, the time limit for starting the construction over the allotted plots was 18 months, which has now been extended to 24 months for plots of 250 to 2,000 sq m, and 36 months for 2,000 to 10,000 sq m plots,” said Pandey, at a press conference.
GNIDA also proposed measures to make the villages of Greater Noida free from open defecation and strengthening the Swachh Bharat mission.
“We have proposed a budget of Rs six crore to be spent for the construction of 5000 toilets in the area falling under the Greater Noida Authority” a senior GNIDA official said.
A budget of Rs 3,639 crore had been allotted for 2018-19, almost double that of last year.
