In the Deadpool sequel, Pitt made a surprising blinkand-you-miss-it appearance as The Vanisher

LOS ANGELES: Taylor Swift celebrated her best friend, singer Selena Gomez’s 26th birthday from afar.

The 28-year-old singer was unable to attend Gomez’s party as she was performing a concert in New Jersey. She rang in the special day with a celebration of her own from miles away.

Swift took to her Instagram Story and shared a picture of a pink birthday cake decorated in Gomez’s honour.

“Will I let distance stop me from celebrating my best friend’s birthday? I mean, I could but why would I want 2? (sic)” she wrote.

The second line of the post was in reference to Gomez’s single ‘Hands To Myself ’, and the cake itself featured the words “Gomez or Go Home”.

Talk show host Oprah Winfrey said she loves doing “nothing” when she has some time off work.

The 64-year-old media mogul said she does not know anyone who is happier than her.

“I don’t know anyone happier. I don’t know anyone who has a better life, or had a better life. I look at other people and I think, they look happy. But not as happy as me.”

“I can go weeks and never turn on a television. I’ve gone a summer not having it on. No, my guilty pleasure is, I do nothing. I live in a very beautiful space that I created,” she said. “Every time I leave home and I’m driving out the back with the pond and the ducks, and I’m looking at the grass and I see the house on the hill, I have this moment where I think about when Dorothy says in ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘I learnt I didn’t have to look further than my own back yard.’ Every time I think of that,” Winfrey told Vogue magazine.

actor said she is one of the lucky ones who knows what makes her happy.

“Most people don’t even know what makes them happy. But I can just sit on my porch and I’ll start reading a book and then realise, OK, I’m not reading any more. I can just take it all in. I can just be,” she said. LOS ANGELES: Ryan Reynolds has revealed that Hollywood star Brad Pitt wanted the actor to bring a cup of coffee for him as his fee for doing a cameo in Deadpool 2. In the Deadpool sequel, Pitt made a surprising blink-and-you-missit appearance as the meta-superhero’s ally known as The Vanisher, ET Online reported. The Vanisher was invisible in the entire film, except for a split second shot where he is revealed to be none other than Pitt. “Brad Pitt said he’d do it if Ryan personally delivered a cup of coffee from Starbucks, right?” asked Deadpool 2 co-writer Rhett Reese. “Sort of embellished. I was told all he wants is a cup of coffee and I said, ‘Like a franchise or just one individual cup of coffee?’ And I was told one individual cup of coffee, which was really his way of saying, ‘I’m doing it for nothing.’ And it was a total solid and the nicest thing anyone could do,” Reynolds responded. “I just loved it, because what’s more irresponsible than taking one of the biggest movie stars in the world and giving him a role that is utterly wordless and invisible with an exception of three frames of film? Yeah that’s kind of amazing,” he added. Deadpool 2, directed by David Leitch, is currently in cinemas.
