Class IX girl abducted, gang raped by three in moving car

GREATER NOIDA: A 14-year-old Class IX girl student was allegedly abducted and gang raped by three men in the moving car when the victim had gone to relieve herself in Dankaur area of Greater Noida on Monday morning. Police have arrested two accused in connection with the case.

“The girl was walking towards the farms to relieve herself at around 7 am in the morning, when three men, hailing from her native village in a Maruti Swift car approached her and pulled her inside the car. They then drove off the vehicle to an isolated road and two of them took turns to rape the girl in moving car while the other man kept driving the car. She was

later thrown off at a secluded place here near the roadside in Dankaur area. Somehow the girl reached home and shared her ordeal with the family,” read the complaint.

Later the family members

police at around 12 pm upon which an FIR was registered against three persons of neighbouring village.

“Following the complaint received, police registered an FIR under Indian Penal Code sections 363 (kidnapping), 376 D (Gang Rape) and section 5/6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offence Act (POCSO) and a probe was launched into the matter. The victim was taken to district hospital where the doctors confirmed the sexual assault,” said Ashish Shrivastava, Superintendent of Police (rural), Gautam Buddh

Nagar.

Later in the evening, police arrested two of the three accused of gang raping the girl.

“Acting on a tip-off and based on the details shared by victim's side, police arrested the two accused from Dankaur area. The arrested accused persons have been identified as Ajay alias Kaalu and Surendra alias Kaalu, both natives of Dankaur area in Greater Noida. We have also recovered the car used in the crime while efforts are being made to nab the third accused, identified as Arun, in the case,” added Shrivastava.
