Haryana announces several developmen­t works for Jind

CHANDIGARH: Setting up a new tradition in the Vidhan Sabha on Monday, Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, announced several developmen­t works for Jind Assembly constituen­cy on basis of demands of MLA late Hari Chand Midha that he was scheduled to take up in the current session.

Manohar Lal was speaking on the second day of ongoing session of Vidhan Sabha here on Monday.

Midha who was representi­ng Jind Assembly Constituen­cy passed away recently.

The Chief Minister said today Midha is no more with us but fulfilling the demands of his area would be the real tributes to him. Nine questions of Midha including eight starred and one un-starred were lined up for the Session.

Manohar Lal announced three new roads for his constituen­cy and said that the work for the setting up of 132 KV Sub Station in Sector -9 Jind would be completed by December 2018.

He said though there is no proposal to upgrade the Government Girls High School at village Barsola yet we have decided to upgrade it to Government Girls Senior Secondary School as a tribute to Midha.

Replying to a question which was to be raised by Midha, the Chief Minister said from the year 2014 to till date, 12 Government High School have been upgraded to Senior Secondary School and eight Primary School to Middle School in the Jind Assembly Constituen­cy.
