NEW DELHI: There is a possibillity of conducting face to face questioning of all three accused who were arrested after a video went viral in which a woman was beaten up in Uttam Nagar area on September 2.

The city police will seek production warrant of the accused in the case. Police claimed that they have arrested the main accused Rohit Tomar, son of the Delhi Police personnel. Later, Ali Hasan (24) and Rajesh (30) were arrested.

"Hasan is found to be the owner of the call centre at Hastsal road where the video was filmed and the other accused Rajesh who works as a peon in the company," police said.

The main accused will be arrested on production warrant from the court for further investigation. "We can question them face to face to know the sequence of events and the contradictions in the statements," police said.

The accused was arrested on Friday after being charged with rape and criminal intimidation in two separate cases, police said.

The arrest of Rohit Tomar, 21, took place hours after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that the video has come to his notice and he has directed Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik to take necessary action in the matter.

The person filming it could be heard asking Tomar to stop beating the woman. But Tomar continued thrashing the woman and abusing her. He was even seen kicking the victim.
