Rewari rape: House was used by accused for debauchery

GURUGRAM: Initial investigation by Haryana Police revealed that the house where the teenager was sexually assaulted was used for debauchery by the three youth. These details have come forward after the interrogation with Nishu and Deen Dayal, the accused in the heinous case.

There were also bottles of alcohol recovered from the house in the farms of Mahendargarh and have been claims that the mastermind in the heinous crime was Nishu Phogat, who used to frequent the house often for partying with his friends.

On September 12, after abducting the former CBSE topper from Rewari, the accused took her to the house, where Nishu, along with Manish and Pankaj, raped the 19-year-old girl.

As of now, Manish and Pankaj are still absconding. Nishu. who is apparently a kabaddi player, first escaped to Jind and then to the sports academy in Rohtak, where he was eventually arrested.

Along with Nishu, the Haryana Police has also been able to get the police remand of Dr Sanjeev and Deen Daya,l who has been arrested for abetting the crime.

While it was Deen Day- al's house where the rape took place, Dr Sanjeev treated the rape survivor.

At a time when the three were sexually assaulting the teenager, they found that the health of the victim worsened.

Fearing that it may result in her losing her life. they called the doctor to treat her. After the treatment, the three threatened the doctor to be silent about the incident to avoid any physical harm.
