AAP names Brijesh Goyal and Rajpal Solanki in-charges for New Delhi, West Delhi LS seats

-

NEW DELHI: Putting an end to all the speculations, AAP'S Delhi convenor Gopal Rai on Sunday announced that Brijesh Goyal and Rajpal Solanki will be in-charges of New Delhi and West Delhi constituencies for 2019 Lok Sabha polls. “We announced five Lok Sabha prabhari earlier and now we are announcing the two final names here. Brajesh Goyal is the leader of the trade wing who will fight from New Delhi and Rajpal Solanki is a social worker,” said Rai.

He added that at the time when the traders of Delhi are disappointed with the Centre due to the sealing drive then a leader from trade wing would take up the issues to the larger mass. “He is fighting for the traders for a long time and we need a person who will be able to address the issue of sealing. The Delhi BJP has betrayed the traders but our party has always been supported the traders. Goyal is a trusted face and he has also been associated with the party for a long time,” said Rai.

The AAP convenor said that Solanki has never been with any party earlier but always supported the AAP. “He is a social worker and has done a

lot of work for the education and health sector in Delhi. We think that he would help us in to make our goal and vision stronger,” said Rai.

Meanwhile, the AAP congratulated the PWD team and minister for the making of the Skywalk Delhi. “It has been

learnt from media reports that the unique Skywalk is now ready for public use and it will be inaugurated by two retired bureaucrats and an absentee MP, following the diktat of the BJP'S central government. The two retired bureaucrats and the absentee MP will do well to study the unique Skywalk design properly and copy it for other locations in Delhi and elsewhere since the central government clearly lacks professional expertise to execute such projects,” said Saurabh Bharadwaj, the chief spokesperson of AAP.
