NEW DELHI: Delhi and NCR may experience worst smog this year as the pollution meter is giving indications of more polluted air this year. Experts stated that change in wind directions caused by cyclonic circulation are leading to increase in the levels of pollution in the capital region, Delhi- NCR.

Meanwhile, the wind will blow with a speed of 5 to 10 kmh once the Cyclonic Circulation arrives in Delhi. So, the prevailing dust in the atmosphere combined with humidity, will lead to increase in pollution level. Thus, mornings and evenings will be hazy, said the expert. Pollution will continue to persist for the next few days. With the presence of trough, Delhi and NCR might experience some thunder activ- ities. The rains will be experienced in some parts only. No major relief in day temperatures is expected.
