REALTY FIRM’S OFFICIAL IN POLICE NET

NEW DELHI: Noida Police arrested a woman, one among the top office-bearers of a real estate company named Premia Group after she flew into IGI airport from Canada late on Friday. Police identified the accused as Natasha Rajput who was nabbed from the IGI airport when she came from Canada.

“After she landed in the country at the airport, she was stopped by the airport officials who informed the police and after reaching the spot she was nabbed,” said the police officer. Police claimed in their press statement that a lookout notice was earlier issued against her and other senior officers of the company.

Police claimed that earlier the director of a private builder’s firm in Noida was arrested for allegedly cheating buyers.

Amit Somal, director of Premia Projects Private Limited, was arrested in a joint operation by the teams of Crime Branch and Sector 20 police station.

Amit Somal, who lives in Delhi’s Dwarka was wanted for some time over complaints of cheating from buyers. He has been booked under Indian Penal Code sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust), the police said.

The company could not deliver on its promise of flats and corporate spaces. The director of Premia Project, Amit Somal, had been absconding since long time after multiple cases had been registered against him. The four FIRS name six people, including Natasha, and were registered on complaints by investors who alleged several thousands people had been cheated.
