Man reveals wealth secrets with friend who plotted dacoity-murder

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police has arrested five men for murdering a man in a dacoity-cum-murder case of Seemapuri. The victim Sanjay, a resident of Seemapuri, was murdered by armed men who entered his house on Tuesday. The crime branch arrested five men in this connection. Crime Branch started working on a gang of robbers involved in the various incidents of burglary, robbery, dacoity and murder and developed further inputs and it was revealed that this gang has several members and that they are continuously committing crime and are currently very active in the area of Outer, Rohini, Shahdara, North-east Districts of Delhi.

The two robbers Pankaj, resident of Etah, Uttar Pradesh age-22 years and Naveen Kumar, resident of Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi age-27 years were apprehended by the raiding team and on their instances the two conspirators Saajan Beni- wal, resident of New Seemapuri, Delhi age-32 years and Sandeep Chaturvedi, resident of Burari, Delhi age-27, were also nabbed. On interrogation, they disclosed their involvement in the instant murder case as well as in several other cases of burglary, robbery, dacoity.

"Saajan Beniwal is the neighbour of the deceased Sanjay and he is the prime conspirator. Sanjay had once disclosed him that he is in a possession of huge cash and jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh which he had received as gratuity benefits after his father died and for the reason, since then he had evil eyes on the huge cash and jewellery of the deceased Sanjay. Saajan hatched the criminal conspiracy with his known Sandeep who was also working with him at the same place,” said DCP Crime Rajesh Deo.

At present three associates of arrested accused persons involved in the present murder case namely Vijay, Mahesh and Upender are on the run, efforts are being made to nab them at the earliest.
