Motive behind juvenile’s suicide remains mystery

GURUGRAM: With no suicide note being found, several motives are being ascertaine­d by the law enforcemen­t officials regarding the death of the Class XII students, who died after falling from the eleventh floor of his residentia­l apartment.

The investigat­ors in Gurugram Police are trying to verify the allegation­s that have been leveled against the deceased of reportedly molesting a girl who mentioned about the incident on social media.

As per the sources in Gurugram Police, the girl also contacted the juvenile warning that she would report the incident of her being molested on the public platform.

The Gurugram Police officials are also trying to find the veracity of the fact, whether the deceased was involved in the ‘Bois Locker Room’ chat or did he take the extreme step out of the stress due to his academics.

Police have started a suicide inquiry under Section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure after the parents refused to file a complaint.

“We are waiting for the appropriat­e time to speak to the parents who lost their only child. As of now, we are trying to investigat­e all the aspects involved in the case,” said Deepak Kumar, station house officer of Sector-53 police station.

The Juvenile reportedly committed suicide by jumping from the eleventh floor of the posh society located in DLF Phase-5. According to the autopsy report, the death was caused due to multiple injuries including injury on the head.
