Bois locker room: ‘Girls rated based on physical features’

- OUR CORRESPONDENT

NEW DELHI: As the Delhi Police investigation into the Bois Locker Room case continued with more suspect members of the Instagram group chat being questioned on Friday, Millennium Post has learnt that the boys and men on the social media chat would often rate the underage girls and women on a scale of 1 to 10, based on their physical features.

Sources with knowledge of the group chat’s operation said that members used to regularly rate photographs of the girls posted in the group. So far, around 20 suspects have been questioned by police with respect to the case, including the arrested adult and the apprehended juvenile.

While some members of the group continue to maintain that they did not know each other personally, others insisted that they were added to the group before the explicit images started getting circulated and had then muted the group or become inactive. Interestingly, sources added that just a few days before the group’s screenshots were made public, the admin had removed several members who were found to be inactive.

Further, police here said that they have discovered more screenshots from the group during their probe. The minor suspects in the case are currently being questioned by investigators at their homes in the presence of their parents and officials of the Child Welfare Department.

And while these suspects belonged to four prominent South Delhi schools and one in Noida, one other prominent school in South Delhi has reportedly written to Delhi Police with a complaint about some of their students’ involvement.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal has submitted a complaint to Delhi Police alleging that she received death threats for pursuing the Bois Locker Room case.
