Over 35 new cases in Central Armed Police Forces

NEW DELHI: Over 35 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFS). Meanwhile, more than 30 new recoveries were also reported from paramilita­ry forces. In Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), as many as 11 fresh recoveries and 16 fresh cases were reported. The force has a total of 193 active COVID19 cases, while over 438 personnel have recovered from the disease and four deaths have been reported.

15 new positive cases and four fresh recoveries were reported from the Border Security Force (BSF) in last 24 hours.

According to an official, a total of 462 personnel have recovered from the pandemic and 128 active cases were there. All infected personnel are under treatment in COVID-19 designated hospital. Three jawans have also died after they got affected by the virus.

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said that four new positive cases and eight new recoveries were reported. Till Monday, there were 184 active positive cases, 280 recoveries and four deaths. Seven fresh recoveries were reported from Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). "41 active cases are there in SSB and 70 have recovered so far from the virus till Monday," the official said. Two deaths also have been reported from the force. In Indo-tibetan Border Police (ITBP), two new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in ITBP is 35 while 195 of its personnel have recovered since COVID-19 outbreak and one death was reported in which the personnel was tested positive for the virus.
