NLCIL reports profit after tax of `1413.85 cr for FY20
CHENNAI: The total income of NLCIL during the March quarter and year ended March 31, 2020 was Rs 2574.65 crore and Rs 9133.28 crore respectively as against Rs 2266.80 crore and Rs 8059.27 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering growth in the total income of 13.58 per cent and 13.33 per cent respectively in both the periods.
Profit after tax for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2020 was Rs 392.48 crore and Rs 1413.85 crore respectively as against Rs 290.13 crore and Rs 1266.97 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 35.28 per cent and 11.59 per cent respectively in both the periods. Power generation during the quarter and year ended
March 31, 2020 was 6098.95 MU and 21922.98 MU as against 5586.17 MU and 20676.18 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 9.18 per cent and 6.03 per cent respectively in both the periods.
Power export during the quarter and year ended March 31, 2020 was 5301 MU and 18840.84 MU respectively as against 4766.54 and 17505.30 MU in the corresponding period of the previous year, registering a growth of 11.21 per cent and 7.63 per cent respectively in both the periods. After commissioning of 709 MW of Solar Power Plant, solar power generation during the quarter and year ended March 31, 2020 to 486.56 MU and 1401.42 MU as against 155.63 MU and 471.14 MU respectively in both the periods. The EBIDTA for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 was Rs 1231.49 crore as against Rs 1071.30 crore, registering a growth of 14.95 per cent.
The EBIDTA for the year ended March 31, 2020 was Rs 3986.80 crore as against Rs 3306.89 crore, registering a growth of 20.56 per cent.
