Voice-activated Android TV from Vu
Leading television brand Vu has released its Android LED TV in
India. With a screen resolution of
3840 x2160 pixels, the 4K smart TV operates on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The Android TV has official access to Google’s ecosystem, including YouTube, Google Playstore and games.
Vu has also partnered with leading video-on-demand (VoD) service providers like Netflix, Hotstar, ALTBalaji, SonyLIV, YuppTV, Hungama Play, Eros Now, BIGflix, etc, to provide certified VoD apps that allow users to access unlimited, diverse and the latest content in an authorised manner.
The highlight of the TV is its inbuilt ActiVoice feature, which enables users to seamlessly search, browse and select content in 88 languages.
The ActiVoice search feature is also enabled to ‘search within’ apps and recommends results according to a user’s preference. With Google’s builtin Chromecast technology, a user can effortlessly cast and stream any kind of content from any mobile device on to the Vu Android TV.
It comes with an A+ grade
IPS panel that eliminates ambient light reflection and ensures that the picture always has depth and details. The TV comes with a 10W + 10W inbuilt sound bar that supports DTS TruSurround and Dolby Digital, which provides a high and immersive sound experience.
With a storage capacity of 16GB, the Vu Android TV runs on a quad core processor and offers connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, headphone connectivity, HDMI and USB ports.
The Vu Android TV is available via online and retail stores in three screen sizes – 116cm (43 inches), 124cm (49 inches) and 139cm
(55 inches).
