A budget phone with a gigantic 5000 mAh battery that could last upto three days

ZenMax looks similar to all previous ZenFone devices which came out of the Asus stable. The front looks similar to previous Zenfone devices while the back gets a durable plastic cover with faux leather finish. The cover can be removed to place SIM and MicroSD but the battery is non-detachable.

Vibrant display: The phone has a large 5.5-Inch (720 x 1280 pixels) screen with a 267 PPI density. The body to screen ratio is ~69.0 per cent which lets you hold the device easily with one hand. The display produces rich colors and has good brightness levels (at 513 lux) that enable you to use the phone even under direct sunlight. Max comes with HD resolution screen which makes the gaming and video experience a treat for the eyes.

Decent camera: At the rear, it is equipped with a 13 MP Master camera with dual tone LED flash to capture stunning images during both day and night. It clicks high-resolution photos with an aperture of f/2.0 which produces sharp and detailed images with natural colors. The camera OS has various modes with multiple options to customize your photography experience. It also has laser auto-focus feature that reduces blurring and enhances image stabilization. The primary camera also captures good quality videos with a 1080p resolution @30fps.

Keeping the selfie generation in mind Asus has provided a 5 MP shooter which comes with various modes including a beautification mode to enhance the quality of the image.

Power packed with an octa-core processor: The smartphone is backed by 64-bit Qualcomm processor at 1.2 GHz. This combines with 2 GB RAM. The phone runs on Android Lollipop Version 5.0 with Asus ZenUI on top of it. The phone has 16 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. We used the device for more than two weeks and it runs smoothly. We also played different games like Real Racing 3, Asphalt 8 Airborne and found no lag in performance.

Massive battery with great backup: A massive 5000 mAh battery is the key highlight of this phone. With moderate usage, it lasts for more than 3 days if you are playing games or surfing the internet. In our video loop test, we played 3 movies continuously for a total 4 hours 37 min at full brightness and full volume over Wi-Fi and found that only 50 per cent of the battery was consumed. Further, we charged one device with 3000 mAh battery using this and it worked perfectly as a power bank. PRICE: PERFORMANCE: FEATURES:
