Fujifilm Launches X-T30 II Camera

Fujifilm has announced that the X-T30 II camera will be released in October, 2021, as an addition to the X Series mirrorless digital cameras.

The X-T30 II features a high-resolution 1.62-million-dot LCD monitor on the rear panel. With a compact body that weighs 378 g, the device is equipped with the 26.1MP “X-Trans™ CMOS 4” sensor and the high-speed image processing engine “X-Processor 4” to enable advanced phase-detection AF across the frame (approximat­ely 100%). Its AF speed of 0.02 seconds is coupled with AF tracking and the camera is reported to deliver blackout-free burst shooting at up to 8fps in the mechanical shutter mode and up to 30fps in the electronic shutter mode.

Film Simulation­s that simulate unique sets of colours, tonality and saturation levels, including “Classic Neg.” (based on colour negative films) and ETERNA Bleach Bypass. Moreover, the algorithm for the Auto mode, which automatica­lly adjusts settings to suit each scene, has been updated.

Fujifilm reports that the device uses the amount of data equivalent to 6K, to generate 4K video to assure high resolution; it can output 4K/30P video at 8 bit 4:2:0 onto an SD card, and 4K/30P video at 10 bit 4:2:2 to HDMI. Furthermor­e, it supports Full HD/240P high-speed video. The camera caters to a wide range of shooting styles including a full-scale manual shooting using the shutter speed dial on the top panel, and quick snaps in the Auto mode. The Fujifilm X-T30 II will be available for purchase in Black and Silver colours by October, 2021, at a price of USD 899.
