Passenger revenues were 3,972 crore, a 6.6 per cent increase as compared to last year, even though passenger volumes increased by 20 per cent. This was primarily due to increased pressure on the yield, bringing down average fare by 11.1 per cent. Indigo continues to be a profitable carrier and to achieve a consistently profitable streak in Indian markets is a notable achievement.
