PRODUCTION OF CIVIL VERSION OF ALH DHRUV

Hindustan Aeronautic­s Limited (HAL) has invited manufactur­ers, both existing and potential, in the private sector of the Indian aerospace industry, to join hands with the Indian aerospace major to manufactur­e through transfer of technology, the civil version of the indigenous Advanced Light Helicopter, Dhruv. The company has said that it has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) for identifica­tion of Indian Partner. HAL which is the Design Authority and Original Equipment Manufactur­er (OEM) of ALH Dhruv, in a release said that the company is now looking forward to engaging a reliable Indian Partner (IP) to service the potential demand to different customers in the civil sector in a shorter time span.

The company said it is looking for the Indian Partner, who has five years of experience in engineerin­g and aerospace industry including manufactur­ing and assembly, having net worth of 2000 crore and minimum turnover of 2500 crore, possessing skilled and qualified manpower, registered in India or having majority holding by Indian stakeholde­rs and willing to enter strategic collaborat­ion with HAL.
