DRONE STRIKES A BRITISH AIRLINER IN THE UK

On April 17 this year, a British Airways Airbus A320 from Geneva, with 137 passengers and crew on board, was struck by a suspected drone while it was landing at Heathrow airport. After landing, the pilot reported an object — believed to be a drone that struck the front of the plane. If confirmed, it’s thought it would be the first such incident in the UK, the BBC reported.
