BRAHMOS
India has successfully test-fired the BrahMos extended range supersonic cruise missile. The missile boasts of an extended range of 450 km from the earlier 290 km and was successfully launched from the integrated test range at Balasore on March 11, 2017. India’s ability to upgrade the range of the BrahMos was enabled by their entry into the 34-nation Missile Technology Control Regime in June 2016 and development was aided by Russia.
