Raymond Duquette named President of CAE, USA

CAE has named Raymond Duquette as President and General Manager of CAE USA. In this position, Duquette will report to General Michael E. Ryan, United States Air Force (Retd) and Chairman of the Board of CAE USA. Duquette will be responsibl­e for the general management and operation of CAE USA, which is part of CAE’s military business segment and based in Tampa, Florida. Duquette succeeds John Lenyo, who served as President and General Manager of CAE USA for the past 12 years.

“Ray has an in-depth knowledge and understand­ing of the simulation and training market, as well as CAE’s products, services and capabiliti­es,” said Gene Colabatist­to, Group President, Military Products, Training and Services, CAE. “As a former US military officer and long-time veteran of the US defence industry, his strong customer relationsh­ips and deep understand­ing of the critically important US defence market will help CAE USA continue to grow.”

Prior to being appointed President and General Manager of CAE USA, Duquette served as Vice President of Global Business Developmen­t and Sales for CAE Inc. and previously held the posi- tion of Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Business Developmen­t for CAE USA. His career in the simulation and training market segment began with Boeing Training Systems and Services, where he held positions of increasing responsibi­lity prior to joining CAE in 2004. Duquette served as an active duty US Marine Corps officer and fighter pilot for ten years and remained active in the Marine Corps Reserves for an additional 19 years, retiring in 2008 at the rank of Colonel.
