Ray­mond Du­quette named Pres­i­dent of CAE, USA


CAE has named Ray­mond Du­quette as Pres­i­dent and Gen­eral Man­ager of CAE USA. In this po­si­tion, Du­quette will re­port to Gen­eral Michael E. Ryan, United States Air Force (Retd) and Chair­man of the Board of CAE USA. Du­quette will be re­spon­si­ble for the gen­eral man­age­ment and op­er­a­tion of CAE USA, which is part of CAE’s mil­i­tary busi­ness seg­ment and based in Tampa, Florida. Du­quette suc­ceeds John Lenyo, who served as Pres­i­dent and Gen­eral Man­ager of CAE USA for the past 12 years.

“Ray has an in-depth knowl­edge and un­der­stand­ing of the sim­u­la­tion and train­ing mar­ket, as well as CAE’s prod­ucts, ser­vices and ca­pa­bil­i­ties,” said Gene Co­la­batistto, Group Pres­i­dent, Mil­i­tary Prod­ucts, Train­ing and Ser­vices, CAE. “As a for­mer US mil­i­tary of­fi­cer and long-time vet­eran of the US de­fence in­dus­try, his strong cus­tomer re­la­tion­ships and deep un­der­stand­ing of the crit­i­cally im­por­tant US de­fence mar­ket will help CAE USA con­tinue to grow.”

Prior to be­ing ap­pointed Pres­i­dent and Gen­eral Man­ager of CAE USA, Du­quette served as Vice Pres­i­dent of Global Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment and Sales for CAE Inc. and pre­vi­ously held the posi- tion of Vice Pres­i­dent of Sales, Mar­ket­ing and Busi­ness De­vel­op­ment for CAE USA. His ca­reer in the sim­u­la­tion and train­ing mar­ket seg­ment be­gan with Boe­ing Train­ing Sys­tems and Ser­vices, where he held po­si­tions of in­creas­ing re­spon­si­bil­ity prior to join­ing CAE in 2004. Du­quette served as an ac­tive duty US Marine Corps of­fi­cer and fighter pilot for ten years and re­mained ac­tive in the Marine Corps Re­serves for an ad­di­tional 19 years, re­tir­ing in 2008 at the rank of Colonel.
