ADMIRAL SUNIL LANBA RECEIVES BATON OF CHAIRMAN, CHIEFS OF STAFF COMMITTEE

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba received the Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC) baton from the outgoing Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha at a ceremony in South Block on December 29, 2016, but assumed charge on December 31. The Chief of Army Staff General Dalbir Singh, who also retires from service on December 31, 2016 and Principal Staff Officers of all three Services and HQ Integrated Defence Staff were present on the occasion.
