£ 1,000 for a single doughnut?

London: A UK restaurant has unveiled the world’s most expensive doughnut: it comes with a whopping price- tag of £ 1,000.

Krispy Kreme has unveiled their deluxe doughnut to mark National Doughnut Week in Selfridges’ Oxford Street store, Metro. co. uk reported.

The gold doughnut, which was assembled in three days, is filled with Dom Perignon 2002 vintage champagne jelly and raspberry and Chateau d’Yquem creme and is topped with a passion fruit glaze, edible 24ct gold leaf, handmade gold- dusted Belgian white chocolate lotus flowers, blossoms, ivy and butterflies, and edible “diamonds”. However, the £ 1,000 doughnut is not for sale. — ANI
