Golf star Rory McIlroy and tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, who got engaged on New Year’s Eve, will tie the knot in August, it has been revealed. Rory popped the question just before the turn of the year and shared the news through social media soon after. A source close to the sports pair told Independent that though they’ve only been engaged a few months, they’re keen to make it official and have chosen New York as the wedding destination since McIlroy is now based in the US, the Mirror reported. The duo is keeping the guest list quiet for security reasons as it has the names of some A- list superstars from around the world, including former US president Bill Clinton, the insider added.
