Get rid of customer support

- AKSHIT GOYAL

Don’t we all just hate customer support? That waiting in queue, those inexperienced “professionals” not even interested in understanding what our problem is. It can all get a little annoying, and fast. Well, it turns out that someone out there is thinking of exactly those issues. Founders Aakrit Vaish and Swapan Rajdev have come up with a brilliant solution in the form of a smartphone app called Haptik.

Haptik, available for Android and iOS, is an app designed for customer support in India, except that it doesn’t use the company in question’s support helpline. Haptik has its own band of company experts, sitting and waiting for all your queries.

The app promises waiting times of less than 4 minutes, and gets you in touch with someone who knows the company and the field you have a query in reasonably easy fashion. You can text with this person, and have your stuff sorted out. They’ll ask you the right questions. They’ll give you the relevant answers. In case you really need to contact the companies in question, the app’s elegantly designed interface even has a provision of providing you with the requisite customer support numbers and e- mail addresses. Yes, very convenient, we know. If you’re as bogged down by companies and customer support as people usually are, and are in possession of an iPhone or Android device, you should definitely check out Haptik. It’s not often that these ideas are catered specifically to Indian markets so it’s time to make the best of it.
