Crocodile attacks woman in Orissa

Bhubaneswa­r: Crocodiles in Orissa’s Kendrapara district continue to attack local residents living areas close to the Bhitarkani­ka National Park limits. On Saturday, a 55- year- old woman was grievously injured after she was attacked by a salt- water crocodile just outside the park, the police said on Sunday. According to the police, the incident occurred at Naladia village of Ostia gram panchayat under the Rajnagar police station limits, nearly 110 km from here. Draupadi Pradhan, who had gone to the river Brahmani for a bath, was attacked by a crocodile which was lurking near the bathing ghat.
