CM makes Mary Kom tax- free in UP

Lucknow: UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav seems to be in a generous mood these days. In the past ten days, he has granted tax exemption to three Bollywood films. Mary Kom, starring Priyanka Chopra, which is based on the life of boxing champion Mary Kom, has now being granted tax free status by the UP government. Mary Kom is releasing on September 5 and is one of the few films to get tax exemption even before its official release. Earlier, the state government had granted tax exemption to Mardaani and Katiyabaaz.
