2 held in teen rape case in Maha

Thane: A teenage girl was allegedly raped near here, with the police arresting two persons in connection with the case. According to the police, youth Manoj M Jaiswal ( 23) had allegedly raped the 14- year- old girl in Ambernath area here on August 29, while the other accused Arjun S. Jaiswal ( 35) assisted Jaiwal in taking the survivor to a secluded place. The incident took place when the girl was returning home from her grandmother’s place in Ambernath, when the two accused took her to a deserted place and one of them allegedly raped her. The survivor after returning home narrated the incident to her parents.
