11 killed in Egypt road accident

Cairo: At least 11 people were burnt to death and six others injured when a microbus and a trailer collided in the Egyptian capital here, in yet another deadly accident in recent weeks. The accident took place on Cairo- Ismailia desert road on Saturday night, said Fikri Tahtawi, director of Sharkeya ambulance company. Eleven bodies were completely charred in the accident, he said, adding six others were injured. The incident was latest in a series of deadly accidents in the country in recent days.
