DEAD BODY FOUND IN A POOL OF BLOOD

New Delhi: A 35- year- old man was found dead under mysterious circumstan­ces in Northeast Delhi’s New

Usmanpur area. A senior police official said

that a passerby saw the body of the man lying in a pool of blood and made a

call on PCR to report the cops about the incident. A police team was sent on the

spot and the body was moved to a nearby government hospital for the postmortem. The police official said that the deceased was later identified as Sonu, a resident of Old Delhi. The police said that few documents were recovered from

the possession of the deceased which helped the

police in establishi­ng his identity. The police said that the deceased’s body bore

multiple injuries mark. “We suspect that it could be a case of personal rivalry,”

the police said. The police said that they have lodged an FIR under Section 302

of the IPC and are looking into the matter.
