DEAD BODY FOUND IN A POOL OF BLOOD

New Delhi: A 35- year- old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Northeast Delhi’s New

Usmanpur area. A senior police official said

that a passerby saw the body of the man lying in a pool of blood and made a

call on PCR to report the cops about the incident. A police team was sent on the

spot and the body was moved to a nearby government hospital for the postmortem. The police official said that the deceased was later identified as Sonu, a resident of Old Delhi. The police said that few documents were recovered from

the possession of the deceased which helped the

police in establishing his identity. The police said that the deceased’s body bore

multiple injuries mark. “We suspect that it could be a case of personal rivalry,”

the police said. The police said that they have lodged an FIR under Section 302

of the IPC and are looking into the matter.
