He then decided to create a custom- made hand that would eventually help his son carry out tasks requiring minimal effort. Not only did he create a customised hand for his son but he also managed to cut costs. According to Viralnova, a normal prosthesis would have cost him more than $ 30,000 but the 3D printed hand cost him less than $ 10.
