UP revenue, loan dues recovery off
Lucknow: The Akhilesh government in Uttar Pradesh has suspended recovery of all revenue dues and cooperative bank loans from farmers in the drought and flood- affected areas of the state. A decision to this effect was taken by chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday night before he left on a week- long foreign tour. “The government has given directions to suspend recovery of all revenue dues and loans of cooperative banks from farmers in drought and flood- affected areas,” said an official spokesman on Monday.
